University of Antwerp

The University of Antwerp is a young research university in Belgium. It has about 20,000 students and consists of nine faculties. The Centre for Ethics is part of the department of philosophy, and specialises in meta-ethics, moral psychology, applied ethics, the history of moral philosophy, and political philosophy, with a special interest in disability studies and neurodiversity.

Role within REALM

The University of Antwerp is involved in work package two, the Ethical, Legal & Societal Framework. Specifically, we are engaged in the analysis of ethical and societal challenges in design, development, and implementation of software in health care and in facilitating societal impact via public workshops.
